Who we are

Origine Portugal is a small textile company based in Porto, founded in 2012 by Cristina Miranda.
We specialize in small and medium-scale production, offering flexibility, precision, and trust.

We believe that real quality comes from people. Origine is built on personal relationships — with our seamstresses, local suppliers, and clients.
Cristina has more than 30 years of experience in the textile industry and speaks fluent English, Portuguese, and some Spanish and French, making collaboration smooth and professional for international clients.

We offer full-service textile production, from pattern and sampling to finishing and packaging.
Our trusted network includes local fabric, trim, label, and printing specialists, ensuring every product is made locally and with full accountability.

♻️ Sustainability & Materials

Responsibility is part of how we work.

At Origine Portugal, sustainability is not a slogan — it’s how we produce every day.

We collaborate with some of the best knitting and weaving mills in the region, ensuring that our fabrics are predominantly European and produced under transparent and responsible conditions.
Whenever possible, we integrate innovative yarns and fabrics developed by Reparell AB, such as #WearOceanWaste and #WearAutoWaste — circular materials made from recycled ocean plastic and end-of-life tyres.

Apart from sustainable fabrics, we also work with woven materials, including cotton, silk and various blends.
Our production covers a wide range of garments — from essential basics to classic and sophisticated pieces, as well as workwear and accessories.

By combining modern technology with craftsmanship, we reduce waste, shorten supply chains, and ensure full accountability — from yarn to finished garment.
